Our DCD open house was such a great time and we could have not done it without our amazing staff, volunteers, students, and families! Thank you to everyone who helped make the day come together and made it so special.

We had delicious BBQ, flavorful, snow, cones, great music, lots of laughs, and so many great moments together. Seeing our students, families, and staff enjoy enjoying the day is exactly what makes DCD so special!

Thank you for showing up, connecting, and making it a day to remember. We already can't wait to do it again next year!

THIS IS DCD 💙💛

DCD Nation had a fantastic time representing at the annual Back to School Bash!

We made great connections and let everyone know why DCD is the place to be.

08/07/2026

Yesterday’s Back to School Bash was a smashing success — and a great reminder that the first day of school is right around the corner!

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 18, as we kick off an exciting new school year. Every student in attendance on the first day will be entered into a drawing for some fabulous prizes!

Remember: Beginning this year, all personal electronic devices — including phones, smartwatches, headphones, and gaming devices — must be turned off and put away during the school day. By unplugging from our devices, we can embrace the analog experience: meaningful, face-to-face connections that boost focus, strengthen communication, and build real-world skills.

Let’s make this the best year yet by being Present, Powerful and Empowered by Reading!
