Well finally made it back home from the National Championship ended up only having 2 fish on day 2 and finished the tournament in 42nd out of 136 teams. Definintely not the finidh we were hoping for but with how tough the fishing was I'm very proud of my partner and I with how we finished. Only 1 team out of 136 could get limits day one and 2 and not a single team could get 3 days of limits, there were lots of 1 and 2 fish bags. So when I say it was tough it was TOUGH but we fished our butts of and finshed pretty darn good! thank you for all the support and donations to the go fund me page we could not have made it there without you guys! Thank you for all the good lucks and text messages throughout the week! Thank you to our sponsors Trokar Eagle Claw Fishing Gambler Lures Eco Pro Tungsten THE ROD GLOVE Sportsman's Warehouse couldn't of had the success we've ha this season without you! Thank you to my family and Cooper's family for making the trip down there to watch us and cheer us on! It was an unbelievable experience competing at the biggest College bass fishing tournament and I can't wait to see CSU Pueblo make it back there some day! Little bitter sweet though it was my last Bassmaster college tournament of my career, I am now handing the team over to Cooper who I know will do a great job as president! I do have one more FLW championship to fish next year but other than that its time to move on and continue my dream on my own! Thank you for all the support throughout my career at CSU Pueblo this team will always have a special place with me!
Day 1 pretty tough for the whole field to say the least sittin in 45th out of 137 we’re just under 6 pounds out of the Saturday 12 cut! Definitely a tough day but we are not out of it! Gonna fish hard look too bring in 5 to the scales tomorrow! Wish us luck!

2 weeks ago Cooper Brown and I on our home were fortunate enough to qualify for the Bassmaster college National Championship! And now after fishing the past week on lake Texoma for the FLW Yeti College Southern Division qualifier #2 I am proud to announce we have also Qualified with for the 2019 FLW National Championship! We had a new member join the club last week, first ever female to compete on our team Danielle Dupont. Her and I traveled to Lake Texoma last monday and fished all week in the wet, cold, windy weather that hit northern Texas and managed to find a good shallow pattern and some areas of the lake tht were holding big fish. We knw if we could get the bites we would have a shot to qualify, maybe even win! With a mixed bag of largemouth and smallmouth weighing 18 lbs 6 oz we ended up in 3rd place out of 79 teams punching our ticket to the 2019 FLW National Championship!! the past couple weeks have been truly awesome for our club and as the president I am super proud of our team and what we have accomplished! To me this is all the hard work and dedication to the sport that has been put in the past 3 years, finally paying off! As always thank you to all of our sponsors Trokar Eagle Claw Fishing Gambler Lures Eco Pro Tungsten THE ROD GLOVE Sportsman's Warehouse we could not do this without you! The CSU Pueblo Bass Team and I are very happy and excited to represent our University and sponsors at both the Bassmaster and FLW College National Championships! Next goal, bring home a National Title!
FLW Yeti college Southern Division Tournament has been postponed till tomorrow due to bad weather. Times are the same just will be fishing on Sunday instead of Saturday. Thanks for all the support!

This past weekend the CSU Pueblo Bass Team and I participated in the B.A.S.S NATION Colorado College State Qualifier on our home lake here in Pueblo! As the President I am very proud to say with the Combined effort of Cooper Brown and Myself we pulled out the victory and have qualified for the 2018 Bassmaster College National Championship this July!! Even on our home lake it was not easy to catch'em with water temps ranging from 39 to 43 degrees and my boats big engine not running on day 1 we were surprised to even catch a keeper. But with hard work and good teamwork we figured out a pattern and managed to catch 3 keeper spotted bass a day putting us on top! It was a huge honor being apart of the first ever college tournament in colorado and to come away with the win is truly awesome. Thank you to Colorado B.A.S.S Nation and Audrey McKenney for putting the tournament together, thank you to our university and the CSU-Pueblo Student Recreation Center for allow us to compete in this sport we love. Thank you to our sponsors we wouldn't be able to do this without them Trokar Eagle Claw Fishing Eco Pro Tungsten Gambler Lures THE ROD GLOVE Sportsman's Warehouse. Also thank you to all our families and friends for all the love and support! I've been lucky enough to be a part of this team for almost 3 years now and I told the previous President Tyler Hassler that I would take care of the club he started and do everything in my power to get this team to Nationals and man we did it! We can't wait to represent CSU Pueblo, the club sports, our sponsors, the city of Pueblo, and all the poeple who support us at the National Championship this summer on Lake Tenkiller!
Up to 25% of our goal, thank you all so much for donating and sharing our team fundraiser. It truly means a lot! Let’s keep this ball rolling, so us Pueblo boys can show of our skills at Lake Pickwick in Alabama!
