You know the 'Man in the Moon,' but have you ever noticed the 'Lady in the Moon' when the Moon is at or near full? I guess she's called a 'lady' because she even has a pearl necklace!
To me she kinda looks like Lucy in the Peanuts cartoon.

Several minutes after Dave Furry took this image last night Mars disappeared behind the Moon (called an 'occultation'). About an hour later it re-appeared on the other side of the Moon.

A few shots of this morning's lunar eclipse. High clouds were a problem, and totally blocked the Moon near totality. But this is what I was able to capture. (The red color is refracted light along the edge of the Earth's shadow.)
