It is with profound sadness that we share that authorities have confirmed the search for Adam Armstrong has come to an end. Our hearts are with his family, friends, colleagues and everyone who has been hoping for his safe return.

Adam was a devoted and cherished member of our District 70 family. There are no words for a loss like this. We ask our community to grant Adam’s loved ones the privacy, compassion and support they need during this most difficult time.

Adam will be deeply missed, and our thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved him.

Thank you to our law enforcement partners and community members who supported and assisted in the search efforts.

WE ARE PROUD OF DISTRICT 70 - Today, we are celebrating Pueblo County School District 70’s preliminary Performance rating from the Colorado Department of Education!

Performance is the highest accreditation plan type awarded by CDE, recognizing districts that meet or exceed state expectations across measures that include student achievement, academic growth and postsecondary and workforce readiness.

This recognition belongs to our students who work hard, our teachers who inspire, our staff who support, our administrators who lead and the families and our community who stand with our successful schools. Together, we continue to create opportunities for students to learn, excel and prepare for their futures.

This is a tremendous example of how District 70 is building brighter futures and proudly telling our story, one collective success at a time.

NEW TEACHERS START STRONG IN D70 - We are excited to welcome our newest teachers to District 70 through our 2026 New Teacher Induction. Yesterday, the first session brought educators together to learn, collaborate and prepare for the year ahead. Teachers explored practical, research-based strategies for creating meaningful learning experiences and meeting the individual needs of their students.

We are proud to support our teachers as they begin their journey with D70 and look forward to seeing the difference they will make in our classrooms and schools.

Pueblo County School District 70 students are getting a special opportunity to be part of the Exceptional Rodeo at the Colorado State Fair!

PRCA & WPRA rodeo contestants partner with children with special needs to experience the excitement of mock-rodeo events, create unforgettable memories, and enjoy the rodeo experience together. 🐴⭐

From participating in the events to exchanging autographs, taking photos, and presenting trophies, it’s a day filled with fun, friendship, and celebration!

We’re proud to see our students experiencing this incredible opportunity and making memories that will last a lifetime! ❤️💙
