We were so excited to welcome former Haaff Tiger, Greg, back home! Greg is in town from Sacramento for his 50th East High School reunion, but he made sure to stop by Haaff to visit and share some special memories from his time here.

Good afternoon Haaff Tigers! This is your principal Mrs. DeCesaro.

Tomorrow is the first day of school! School begins promptly at 7:45 am. Students may be dropped off anytime between 7:35 and 7:45am. Please remember, there is no supervision before 7:35 am. For the safety of your child, please do not drop off before that time. Upon arrival, students should proceed directly to their classroom exterior door where they will enter the building. Our playground equipment may not be used before or directly after school so that we can ensure the safety of all students.

We will be taking pre-orders for our new Haaff theme T-shirts after school all week. The cost is $20. Cash only please.

The bus loop in front of the school may only be used to drop off students in the mornings. Please pull all the way forward and fill in all empty space ahead of your vehicle. Drivers must remain in their vehicle. Please do not park and exit your vehicle while in the bus loop area. Please do not double park or direct your child to exit the vehicle before you are pulled over safely next to the curb. All children must exit on the right side of your vehicle so they are out of the danger of passing traffic. Staff are available to assist children in making their way to class.

When picking up your child after school, you must remain in your vehicle while you are in the loop. If you wish to park and get out of the car, you must pull into the parking lot at the end of the drop off loop if space is available. Parking in the teachers' lot is not allowed for safety reasons and is by numbered permit only. Only parents with a handicapped placard who need to park and exit their vehicle may enter the lot.

If the loop and lower parking lot are full, parents will be asked to find parking on the street or circle the block until space becomes available. Remember, this is for the safety of our children!

✨ Freshly painted, welcoming classrooms
✨ New flooring in select spaces
✨ New decorations and our exciting new school theme
✨ And so much more!

We’ve been busy getting everything ready, and we can’t wait for you to see it! Tomorrow is the first day of an incredible new year!
