To our dear friends at our sister school, Liberty Point International School, and throughout our entire Pueblo County School District #70 family: please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as we mourn alongside you.

We extend our deepest sympathies on the profound loss of Adam Armstrong, a loyal and devoted custodian and a beloved member of the LPI, District 70, and greater Pueblo West communities.

Adam’s loss is felt far beyond the halls of Liberty Point. As you grieve, may you feel the love, strength, and support of the entire community standing beside you. We are here for you, united as one District 70 family.

Stay in your car and hand it to a volleyball player. Or MS Volleyball players will pick up from classrooms as well.

Dear Swallows Charter Academy Families,

Our beginning-of-the-year fundraisers are in full swing! 🎉

This year, the SCA Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) has offered more time for families to fundraise so we can raise as much as possible to support the school events and activities the PTO hosts throughout the year.

We are excited to offer TWO fundraising options this year:

🛍️ Charleston Wrap Fundraiser

The Charleston Wrap fundraiser is an online fundraiser that was sent home during the first week of school.

There are lots of great items available for purchase, and the best part is that your purchases can be shipped directly to your home! This makes it an easy and convenient way to support SCA while shopping for items your family can use.

💙 OPT OUT Fundraiser

Don't want to sell or participate in fundraisers throughout the school year? Our OPT OUT option allows your family to make one payment directly to the PTO and opt out of having to participate in any additional PTO fundraisers for the rest of the school year.

The OPT OUT amounts are:

$125 per student
OR
$200 per family

This contribution goes directly toward helping the PTO fund school events and activities for our SCA students.

⭐ A Little Extra Motivation!

We want to recognize our students and families for supporting the PTO!

Any student whose family sells more than $300 through Charleston Wrap OR pays the OPT OUT fundraiser fee will receive something special from the PTO! 🎁

⏰ IMPORTANT: Our fundraising deadline is September 18th!

Whether you choose Charleston Wrap, the OPT OUT option, or a combination of support, every dollar makes a difference! Your support helps the PTO provide fun, memorable experiences and events for our students throughout the school year.

This is a quick reminder to register for our upcoming information meeting about the 2027 trip to Scotland and Ireland. At the meeting, we’ll share details about the itinerary, activities, cost, and enrollment timeline, and families will have a chance to ask questions and learn more about this opportunity for their student.
