Her neuroscience training, communication and leadership skill frameworks, assessments, methodologies, and tools are built on the principle that we are interdependent, self-organizing complex systems. Using her resources, her clients:

Dr. Sunnie Giles holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy (or Systemic Psychology) from Brigham Young University. With her clinical and coaching experience, as well as high-level leadership experiences at Fortune 500 companies, including Samsung and IBM, she quickly identifies the core issues that hold the highest potential to facilitate self-discovery and lead to permanent change in her clients. Today, the business environment changes so rapidly that it is described as —volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous. In this VUCA environment, those who don’t learn and change as fast as the environment are bound to face extinction. The basis of competition has changed from efficiency to learning and innovation.

You can’t solve (or even perceive) new problems using old frames. A big part of VUCA is about solving new problems. Hence, an important leadership competency is to help yourself and your people throw away old, limiting perspectives and asking questions that open possibilities in all directions, even ones that don’t make sense to us.
