Feeling exhausted at the end of another school year? So are we!
The BYU Society of Physics Students is hosting an end-of-year BBQ at Kiwanis Park in Provo on Saturday, April 13th. We'll be providing some hot dogs and games and it should be a blast! We're planning to start dishing out food at 11am.

We are excited to announce the Physics Demonstration Competition! It will be taking place on Thursday, March 7th at 7pm in N252. We would love for anyone and everyone to bring in a cool demonstration of a physics principle to share with everyone! It could be about Newtonian mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, or even quantum mechanics if you wanted to be really fancy! ;)
There will be a $50 cougar cash prize for the winner and we hope to see you all there!

The SPS research night was a great success! We loved having undergraduates from a variety of majors come learn about research here at BYU. Don't forget to reach out to the professors you spoke to about when they hold research group meetings!

Hello all! This next week, we will be doing an outreach activity at the Boys and Girls club here in Provo. We'll bring fun demos and simple physics kits and share the wonders of science with young learners.
It'll be Thursday and we'll meet at the Pendulum in the ESC at 3:30pm. We'll be back by 5:30.
