BYU swim: Brad Prolo named MPSF Swimming Freshman of the Year BYU freshman Brad Prolo was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Freshman Swimmer of the Year.

Almost all of the cost for this upgrade is being funded by the university. The exception, however, was that Coach Brooks would like to add two video results boards and a records board which were not funded by the university. The layout of the new facility actually requires two in order for them to be seen. The first video board has already been funded from private donations. The remaining, however, still needs to get funded. We have been asked if we could reach out to the swim team alumni for their help.

We spent a lot of time in the pool and share in a lot of fond memories. We’d like future generations of swimmers to enjoy the same. Let’s help make this great facility even greater. Why the BYU swimming team went to Puerto Rico while other teams stayed home Puerto Ricans express gratitude to BYU's swimmers and divers who showed up to train after 16 other college programs bailed after Hurricane Maria.

BYU Serves In Puerto Rico During Winter Training Trip Members of the BYU’s swim and dive team headed to Puerto Rico, Wednesday Dec. 27, for its winter training camp but is also spending time helping the community after Hurricane Maria destroyed most of the country earlier this fall.
