Published in Langmuir, Andrewβs research introduces an innovative ambient pressure spin-coating method for fabricating bimetallic M*F thin films. This work opens new doors for the discovery of surface-mounted materials and advancements in catalysis.

Huge congratulations to Denise Procopio for taking 2nd place overall at todayβs university-wide Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition! π₯β¨
After winning both the department and college-level competitions, Denise delivered an outstanding presentation at the university finals. In addition to her 2nd place finish, she was awarded $4,000 and received one of the prestigious Presenter Awards.
We are so proud of Denise for this incredible accomplishment and for representing the BYU Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry so well!

We had a great group of participants at the 3 Minute Thesis competition yesterday! These students did an amazing job condensing years of complex research into just three minutes.
A huge congratulations to Denise Procopio, Jhon Sia, and Sudam Mane for advancing to the college-level competition! We are so proud of your hard work and can't wait to see you represent the department.
The college competition is on February 20th at 11 AM in room 3380 of the WSC. Come and support our amazing graduate students!
