Save the Date! 2027ASACC National Student Advocacy Conference!

Robert Sewell, Student Government Advisor at Victor Valley College (Victorville, California) was recently awarded the ASACC Student Life Award at the National Student Advocacy Conference in on March 14, 2026 in Washington D.C.

Robert has brought students to the D.C. conference since 1996. That's 30 years of participation in building the student voice and teaching students the importance of leadership, citizenship and advocacy. He has also presented workshops at seminars for ASACC conferences more than a dozen times. We honor his service and commitment.

ASACC recently held the National Student Advocacy Conference in Washington, D.C. Student leaders from across the country came together to discuss and devleop priorities to take to Congress. More than 600 visits to Members of Congress finished the conference with the message "Save Student Aid." Thanks to all the conference participants!
