This week has been full of fun in our Summer Camp program. Beginning with guest speakers, following up with Splash pad for this warm weather and parks to run and do so many activities. It's Community Helpers week at Adventure Time! We are lucky to have some amazing community helpers right down the road from us. Thank you Provo Fire & Rescue for your fire safey presentation this morning!

We learned about fire safety, how to "Stop, Drop, & Roll," and we practiced memorizing 911 for emergencies!

This spring cooking project was so fun and easy! Ms. Terran plans a lot of fun, and delicious, activities for our after school program!

We had our annual Easter Gorilla visit and Easter Egg Hunts today! The Easter Gorilla passed out coloring books and flowers and the kids had a blast dancing around and giving him fist bumps! We hope everyone has a happy Easter weekend!

Today is the Great Utah Shake Out!
This is an annual earthquake drill happening throught the state. Adventure Time participates by playing a broadcast provided by Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drills over our intercom while caregivers and children take cover.
Admin then go around to each classroom ensure everyone was part of the practice and have staff repeat the procedure.

Adventure Time has an annual tradition of assembling and planting blue pinwheels in the front lawn to raise awareness of Child Abuse Prevention Month. We love getting the kids involved in this project! These pinwheels bring a lot of smiles and joy to those who pass by.
