Purple group at Mount Vernon

All of the groups went to Mt. Vernon this morning. Here are some pictures from the green group visiting Washington’s tomb, the slave memorial, the 16-sided barn, and the mansion.

Our last metro ride! Headed to the airport after an incredible week in our Nation’s Capitol.

It was a great last full day for Yellow Group! We had a capitol tour, went to the Air & Space museum, Botanical Gardens, Ford’s Theater, the Police Memorial, Dinner at Union Station, lots of really cool fountains, the Japanese Memorial Garden, hung out at Capitol at Dusk, and ended at the disabled Veterans Memorial.
