BYU ROTC-Army Hero 5K

Many of the cadets from BYU Army ROTC and their families were able to participate in today’s events!

Our top racers today! Thank you to everyone who donated, participated in today’s event. Over $1500 was raised to support families of fallen soldiers and first responders!

Tomorrow is race day! Here are a few things for racers to know:

1. We ask that you show up a little early so that we can check you in. It should not take to long, we will check you off the list and ensure that you have signed the waiver. There should be plenty of parking at Canyon Glen, but we do ask that you carpool so we can save space.

2. The race will start at Canyon Glen Park and will go the Bridal Veil Falls and back. We will have volunteers placed along the route to ensure that you do not get lost and know when to turn around.

3. After the race, pancakes, juice and fruit will be served. We will also award medals to our top three male and female racers, and announce the winners of the raffle that will be taking place.

BYU Marriott School of Business - Hero 5K 2023 - Registration Hero 5K 2022

Starting today, we will be in the Wilkinson Student Center and at Brigham Square on BYU Campus with an informational booth about the race.

The first 100 people to register for the race with us in person will receive a free HERO 5K T-shirt. Limited sizes, so the sooner you come and see us, the better!

IT'S HERE FOLKS! The Hero 5K is officially on for 2023. The run this year will be from Canyon Glen Park, to beautiful Bridal Veil Falls and back. The proceeds from this run will benefit children, students, and families of fallen veterans and first responders here in our BYU Community. We are so excited to be hosting this event again, and in such a beautiful location.

We’re happy to announce that the Hero 5K will be happening this year at 0900 on April 9th, 2022 at Mitchell Hollow Park in Highland, UT. The Hero 5K is a charity run with the goal to fund scholarships for the children of fallen service members and first responders and the children of combat veterans. Please sign up to run and help us to give back to those who’ve given so much for us. All ages and abilities are welcome to participate.
