Unmasking Colonial Legacies: A Sociological Assessment of Imperialism in European Museums Scott Sanders of the BYU Sociology Department discusses how European museums present their colonial histories, and how they can help visitors understand the lasting effects of colonialism. Part of the Kennedy Center's fall 2024 lecture series, "Legacies of Colonialism."

The Prado Museum offers a one-week “summer school” for students who are:

Under 30 yrs of age
In their last year of undergrad or masters program or in a PhD program

The Summer School is an academic activity of the Museum’s Centro de Estudios aimed at deepening the training of young art historians, future curators, and museum managers; from a practical perspective, offering a comprehensive experience of research functions and those related to collection management.
