🌊🚣‍♀️ We're bringing one of CCID's favorite fieldwork experiences to our families!

Over the years, our students and staff have explored local waterways by kayak, observing ecosystems, asking questions, collecting data, and experiencing STEM learning beyond the classroom walls. Now it's your turn!

Join us for our Family Fieldwork Kayaking Event on Monday, June 29, from 2:00–4:00 PM at First Dam. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time together outdoors, explore nature, and experience the kind of hands-on, curiosity-driven learning that makes CCID unique.

Whether you're an experienced paddler or trying kayaking for the first time, we'd love to have you join us!

🚣‍♀️ Join us for Family Fieldwork: Kayaking at First Dam! 🌊

📅 Monday, June 29
⏰ 2:00–4:00 PM

Experience hands-on learning as a family while exploring local ecosystems from the water! This fun outdoor adventure connects STEM learning with real-world observation and discovery.

✅ Adult supervision is required throughout the event.
✅ Participant release forms must be signed on-site before getting in a kayak.
✅ Please bring your own snacks and water.

Families with children ages 3–5 will receive a FREE early math board game, learn fun ways to build math skills through play, and discover resources to support kindergarten readiness.
