It was an AMAZING season for Cougar Track & Field! 👟 In our very first year competing in the Rhode Island Interscholastic League, our athletes proved they belong among the best in the state. After earning a Bronze team medal at the divisional championships, the Cougars headed to the RIIL Middle School State Championships at Rhode Island College and delivered an incredible performance!

Our athletes brought home state medals in six events:
Boys 100m
Boys 200m
Boys 4x400m Relay
Girls 200m
Girls 400m
Girls Discus

A special shoutout to seventh-grader MJ, whose clutch 75’7” discus throw earned her 5th place in the state! 🏆

We also would like to thank Coaches Chris Love and Tatyana Cobbin for their dedication, energy, and commitment to helping our athletes grow and succeed all season long!

From portfolio strategy to boardroom pitches, our Investment Club stepped into high finance during an incredible field trip to Merrill Lynch!

With guidance from Miss Gina, students took a deep dive into their Schwab portfolio and learned an important lesson: diversification matters. After identifying gaps in sectors like industrials, materials, utilities, energy, and real estate, students researched emerging companies, presented their findings, and defended their picks in a real boardroom setting.

Students selected six standout stocks they plan to invest in by year’s end and presented them at Merrill Lynch to Miss Gina and Mr. Tom.

A special thank you to Maya’s mom, Miss Makeba from for joining us for this exciting experience!

This is only the beginning… stay tuned! 📈

Beloved Community Night finally made its way back to us after a season of snow delays!

The evening began with our 6th graders’ powerful recital of Martin Luther King Jr.’s I Have a Dream, bringing the entire school together to close with its final verses. From there, the stage came alive with performances across every grade!

Students performed to songs like Can’t Stop the Feeling, Dynamite, and Can’t Stop Us Now, while Grades 4–6 sang in English, Spanish, Swahili, and Sign Language. We were excited to have Chris Love share the Eastern War Dance of the Narragansett tribe, and to see Mr. Figz and special guests showcase the art of breaking. The CP Dance Club also brought incredible energy with their own take on the !

This is what Beloved Community looks like! ❤️✨
