Anchors Were Everywhere at the Blessing of the Fleet Road Race! 🏃⚓

Our RIC team had an incredible time connecting with runners, spectators, alumni, families, and future students during the annual Blessing of the Fleet Road Race.

There was nothing better than hearing people proudly say, "I'm a RIC alum!" Those conversations remind us that no matter where life takes you, the Anchor community is never far away.

Did you attend the race? We'd love to hear from you in the comments!

This summer, our team stepped away from the office for a field trip filled with connection, community, and great local food ☀️

We toured The Alcove, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting women and gender-expansive people across Rhode Island. A special thank you to RIC alumna Khamry Varfley '21, Curator and Program Manager, for sharing the organization's mission and showing us its welcoming space.

We then enjoyed lunch at The Patio on Broadway Providence, where owner and proud RIC alumna Angel Tavitian Winpenny '09 greeted us with delicious food and warm hospitality.

We're proud to support our team, celebrate our alumni, and champion the local businesses and organizations that help our community thrive ⚓
