⚓ Throwback Thursday: A Legacy That Lives On

This photo from 1984 highlights the Latin American Student Organization (LASO) and its legacy over the years.

For generations, organizations like LASO have reflected the diverse voices and experiences that continue to shape the RIC community.

RIC’s new Collegiate Recovery Center began with a need: creating a welcoming space where students in recovery could find support, connection and community.

With support from alumnae Tonya M. Glantz ’97, ’14, Marianne Raimondo ’09 and Kimberly Mazza ’06, along with students, staff, community partners and the RIC Alumni & Foundation, that need became a reality.

It’s more than a new space. It’s a reminder of what Anchors can accomplish together.
