Queremos expresar nuestro sincero agradecimiento a Luz Filpo, Outreach Director de Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island, por recibir y acompañar a nuestros participantes mayores de 60 años durante este valioso programa de seis semanas, Food is Medicine Café.

A través de este programa, nuestros participantes tuvieron la oportunidad de aprender sobre nutrición, manejo de la diabetes, alimentación saludable y bienestar, además de recibir comidas y recursos adaptados a sus necesidades.

Agradecemos también a Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island por su compromiso y apoyo a nuestra comunidad de adultos mayores.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Luz Filpo, Outreach Director of Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island, for welcoming and supporting our participants age 60 and older through this valuable six-week Food is Medicine Café program.

Through this program, our participants had the opportunity to learn about nutrition, diabetes management, healthy eating, and overall wellness, while receiving meals and resources tailored to their needs.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island for their commitment and support of our older adult community.

Centro Renacer – Activities Department

En Centro Renacer, nos preocupamos por el bienestar y la independencia de nuestros participantes. Cada mes ofrecemos transporte para llevarlos al banco, a Walmart y otras tiendas para realizar sus compras y diligencias, además de disfrutar de diferentes actividades y salidas comunitarias.

Nuestro compromiso es promover independencia, participación comunitaria y una mejor calidad de vida.

At Centro Renacer, we care about the well-being and independence of our participants. Every month, we provide transportation to the bank, Walmart, and other stores so they can shop, run errands, and enjoy different community activities and outings.

Our commitment is to promote independence, community involvement, and a better quality of life.

DÍA DE TÉ EN CENTRO RENACER

Qué hermoso día vivimos en nuestro querido Centro Renacer durante nuestro especial Día de Té.

Nuestras participantes disfrutaron de una jornada llena de elegancia, creatividad, alegría y compañerismo. Todas lucimos hermosos vestidos y elegantes sombreros, creando un ambiente especial y lleno de encanto.

Compartimos poemas, poesía, poesía coreada, canciones, chistes y muchas sonrisas. También disfrutamos de nuestro tradicional brindis con una deliciosa taza de té calientico, celebrando la amistad, la creatividad y esos momentos especiales que hacen que cada día juntos sea inolvidable.

Fue una experiencia hermosa, llena de talento, participación y alegría. En Centro Renacer celebramos la vida, la amistad y la oportunidad de crear juntos recuerdos que atesoraremos siempre.

TEA DAY AT CENTRO RENACER

What a beautiful day we had at Centro Renacer during our special Tea Day!

Our participants enjoyed a wonderful day filled with elegance, creativity, laughter, and friendship. Everyone looked beautiful in their elegant dresses and lovely hats, creating a truly charming and special atmosphere.

We shared poems, poetry readings, group poetry, songs, jokes, and plenty of smiles. We also enjoyed a special tea toast with a warm and delicious cup of tea, celebrating friendship, creativity, and the beautiful moments that make our days together so memorable.

It was a beautiful experience filled with talent, participation, joy, and togetherness. At Centro Renacer, we celebrate life, friendship, creativity, and the opportunity to create beautiful memories together.
