Mission Statement

The mission of Central High School is to instruct students in practical knowledge, foster positive attitudes, encourage commendable behaviors and promote opportunities in order for students to realize their potential to thrive in a global technological society. Academic – Social & Civic Expectation Requirements·

Expectation #1: All students will acquire, analyze,

and evaluate information and ideas to solve problems and justify conclusion.·
Expectation #2: Students will demonstrate proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English.·
Expectation #3: Students will demonstrate a level-appropriate basic understanding of world language through listening, speaking, reading, and writing in that language.·
Expectation #4: Students will demonstrate effective use of information and technology in research, presentation, and problem-solving.·
Expectation #5: Students will demonstrate an understanding of the process of creating art and the influence of the arts in culture and history.·
Expectation #6: Students will use knowledge of their own learning styles, interest, and strengths to identify goals, set priorities, manage progress and plan their educations and careers.·
Expectation #7: Students will work actively and cooperatively to achieve group goals. Expectation #8: Students will make appropriate choices that contribute to a healthy lifestyle. ·
Expectation #9: Students will understand and accept benefits and consequences of their behavior.·
Expectation #10: Student will demonstrate an understanding of political, economic, environmental, and social issues in order to contribute to society as responsible citizens.

Both can definitely be obtained, but the WIN AT ALL COST no matter what you have to do or rules to break to WIN is what is being talked about. We see it everyday the coaches that cheat, break the rules, and throw kids 160 pitches just to win.
