“It’s almost as if, every year on September 11, it’s sending out a kind of Morse code saying, ‘Life is here. We exist.’”

Associate Professor of Visual Art Paul Myoda, co-designer of the "Tribute in Light" installation seen in the New York City skyline every year on September 11, vividly remembers the day the piece debuted nearly 20 years ago.

TOMORROW at 1 p.m. EST: Are you an alumnus of the Visual Art department, or just interested in learning from some creative Brunonians? Hear from artists, curators, and activists — including Dara Kwayera Imani Bayer ’08, Sofie Ramos ’13, Scott Snibbe ’91, and Kah Yangni ’14 — in the Brown Visual Art department's annual Alumni Panel.
Hi everyone! Hope you and yours are taking care of yourselves and each other.

Are you creating artwork? Or looking for a reason to begin? Submit to the Creating Resilience Exhibit!

If you're interested, you also have the opportunity to be interviewed about your work and creative process. To get started follow this link to our form:
