Harold is a junior studying BEO, Business Economics. Harold has been working with BSA since his freshman year, and took over as Executive Director in his freshman spring. Since then, he’s helped launch a few products, from diligence, to contract negotiation, to logistics and delivery, including BrunoBeds, Kaplan Test Prep, and Mixology courses with the GCB. Outside of BSA, Harold is also the External Vice President of the Brown Consulting Club, and will be working in consulting at Kaiser Associates in Washington DC. In his free time, he likes to meditate and keep up with the retail industry.

Panelist Chuck Isgar is the Co-President of Brown EP and a Junior at Brown, concentrating in Business Economics. He is passionate about supporting founders at all stages, whether it’s brainstorming ideas or helping them through the venture capital (VC) fundraising process. He is a University Investment Fellow for Glynn Capital and has previously worked in early stage VC at Qalora Capital in Stockholm, Sweden. Chuck serves as an advisor to several startups and has previously interned at Alyce, a venture-backed B2B SaaS company.

As the Founder and Head of the Roundtable Discussion Series at Brown, Chuck has hosted small conversations with guests such as Charlie Kroll ‘01, (Andera and Ellevest), Steph Korey ’09 (Away), Rip Pruisken ’10 (Rip Van Wafels), Tom Scott ’89 and Tom First ‘89 (Nantucket Nectars), and more. Through initiatives such as bringing entrepreneurial alumni and guests to EP’s weekly meetings, Chuck is committed to helping develop Brown into one of the best places in the country to be immersed into entrepreneurship as a student.

Outside of entrepreneurship, Chuck is a member of Brown’s Varsity Golf Team. He loves grabbing coffee with people interested in entrepreneurship and VC — feel free to reach out to [email protected]
