Introducing a NEW Historical Wrestling Site for the New England Wrestling Association for College. There was currently no site (That we could Find) to go to for historical data, but we took the time to dig into paper hard copies, brochures, and former coaches input to attain, what we think it is a pretty accurate site of information. It is a College Wrestling Association that has changed names multiple times to conform with NCAA regulations. From 1979- 2007 the name was NECCWA (New England College Conference Wrestling

RHODE ISLAND has only 1 NCAA National Championship in any sport in Dlll. Any guesses as to which sport?

DIII By State: Rhode Island 4 schools represent The Ocean State. Johnson & Wales Providence reached the pinnacle with their 2025 Wrestling title. As the New Season approaches Coach Morris will look to surpass some all time greats for the Most Dual Meet Wins in a Career. Morris currently sits in the #12 position among All coaches in All divisions and #1 in Currently Active Coaches. Morris will need 8 more wins to surpass the Great Doug Parker (Springfield College) and 13 wins to surpass 2X Olympic and 4x World Champion John Smith (Oklahoma State) JWU Providence Athletics JWU Providence

Dominick LaRusso had 3 pins under :15 in the 2019 season. He recorded a :12 against Bridgewater, :13 against Roger Williams and another :13 against Castleton. *Fun Fact Diego Crespo hold the fastest pin in :06 against MIT back in 2004.
