Hello friends! I have some openings in my voice studio for Fall lessons. Lessons start Friday, August 21st. I have some every week spots and some every other week openings. Lessons are $35/half hour. Lessons will taught online until the end of September and then we will see what is going on in the world to decide how we will move forward. Text me if you are interested! 435-232-3054.

Hello friends! I will be signing up additional students for Summer voice lessons. I have moved to a larger studio (still in my home) and will be practicing social distancing if you want to have “in person” lessons. Online lessons will also be offered. The first 6 lessons are at their normal price of $35 a lesson and any additional lessons will be $30. If you have already registered, just text or email me and I will activate your registration again.

This article talks about things we can and cannot control. Although The Simple Dollar is a great website/blog about finances - this same concept is totally applicable to auditioning and performing. It is how we react to things and how much we have personally prepared which are in our control - not whether we get the role, how much the audience likes us (or how big the audience is) or someone else on the stage getting their part perfect. I am SO guilty of this! I do a whole bunch of things on my to do list that are not the most important thing! I am going to try the author’s strategy: One big goal for the day and then if there’s time - the other little things.

There is a horror story out there.
