Grades 4-5 Distance learning starts on 9/14. See you in person on 9/21.

Students attending the Virtual Academy and Reservoir is their school, we will continue to pass chromebooks for students that do not have one. Please call (401) 456-9406 to make an appointment.

PARCC assessment results for grades 3-5 have been released and Reservoir hit it out of the park! Our ELA proficient/exceeds proficient rates increased 26 points in 2 years from 18.3% to 44.6%. Math rates increased 24 points in 2 years from 19.2% to 43.3%. About forty percent of our students also receive ESL services. Fantastic!
PARCC results are only one piece of the puzzle to determine how our students. schools and communities are doing. We need to also look at behavior, attendance, survey data... and how our students interact as part of a community. Do they care about others? How do they make the world a better place. Do they keep trying when things get tough?We also know that besides their academic strength, our kids are great people raised by awesome caring parents and taught by amazing thoughtful teachers. Let's celebrate Reservoir Avenue Elementary! It is a wonderful school community that I have been proud to support as its principal over the last three years.
