Providence College Common Reading Program

The program was created to establish an academic environment for incoming freshmen and student engagement throughout their time at Providence College.

This year's common reading book for the Providence College Class of 2018 is Outliers, the Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell. Students have the opportunity to be in contact with the Providence College community throughout the summer and the academic year by participating in online discussions on Facebook, Twitter, and posting pictures on Instagram. Weekly contests are held in each social media forum. Events relating to Outliers will be held throughout the year.
