CU honors Juneteenth today, a day for us to sit in love and struggle, as we reflect on our past and present, and how we can work together to create more justice in the world, especially for BIPOC communities.

Current CU student Safiro M. Velez writes, Juneteenth "was not something I learned about at school, and it is imperative to reject complacency on this topic. This month, during a cookout or dinner, set some time aside to tell your children about the importance of Freedom Day."

CU's very own Nathaly Fernandez and President Adam Bush joined this past weekend's celebration of love. We invite everyone to stand proud this month, and every month, and embrace the beauty of self-discovery and authenticity. 💪💚🤍

🎉This past weekend, CU Chicago graduates donned their caps and gowns to receive their Bachelor’s Degrees in Organizational Leadership & Change – Edward Jones, Lydell Lofton, and Tommie Jenkins!!! Surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues, our three grads were energetically welcomed to the next chapter of their journey. 💚🤍

We had a blast welcoming back so many CU alumni for last Friday's Artful Reflect & Paint Night in Providence! 💚🤍

It was an evening for alums to connect, unwind, share their creativity, all while creating new memories together in CommUnity.

CU mourns our longtime friend and supporter Stanley Goldstein--the co-founder of CVS Pharmacy, and former Board chair of The Met High School, Providence and Newport, RI--who passed away last week.

CU co-founder and President Emeritus Dennis Littky writes: 'We will remember him for his support, integrity...his kindness as a father/husband and friend of Big Picture, The MET, and College Unbound...and I will remember him as my dear friend.'

Last week, CU CommUnity members showed out to support Lizz Colón, Director of CU's Learning In Public program, instructional faculty member, and alum, as she received RIPIN's Caregiver of the Year Award! 💚

In addition to her innovative lifelong learning work here at CU, Lizz has raised a combination of 19 biological, adopted, and foster children , (who currently range from 6 years old to 35 years old), over the years. Please join us all in congratulating the amazing Lizz! 🎉🎉🎉

This May, we celebrated the second-ever graduating class of CU Delaware Valley (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware). From three graduates last year, we increased over TENFOLD this year, for a total of 34 graduates donning their caps and gowns to receive their Bachelor's Degrees in Organizational Leadership and Change!!! Congratulations to our amazing graduates! 🎉💯🔥
