We're thrilled to share that RINEC earned full accreditation by the Association of Standardized Patient Educators for our human simulation programs, the backbone of nursing education for The University of Rhode Island - College of Nursing and Rhode Island College Zvart Onanian School of Nursing students, The sim programs are delivered here at RINEC, one of the ed centers administered by RI Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner. RINEC is 1 of only 19 organizations nationwide that have earned accreditation status by meeting highly rigorous and specialized specifications. Congrats to the entire teams at URI, RIC and RINEC for this achievement!

Every day is a good day at RINEC, but it's is ESPECIALLY GREAT when we host a career day for high school students interested in healthcare careers. We're still feeling the joy of witnessing their enthusiasm and energy. We owe many thanks to all of the presenters and partners who helped to make the day exciting, insightful and inspirational. HopeHealth and URI CON have officially established a new academic practice partnership focused on expanding education, clinical training, and career opportunities in hospice and palliative care. 💙

Through this collaboration, URI nursing students will gain hands on clinical experiences, research opportunities, simulation-based learning, and pathways to future careers, all while strengthening compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals and families facing serious illness.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to innovation, lifelong learning, and preparing future nurses to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients and families in every stage of life.
