You can learn Mandarin from thousands of free Facebook videos , why do you need a tutor to work with? 😲
Mandarin tutors not only teach but point out blind spots to help you go further.
Free videos won't point out your blind spots and clarify questions/ misunderstandings for you.
It's like when you travel to another country, you like to join the tour at the tourist spots ✈️
The tour guide provides information and insights that help you make the most experience.
Learning Mandarin is like traveling. (Yeah, on some level it is traveling!) And the tutor is like the tour guide.
Of course, you can only watch videos to understand the stories of the attractions.
However, the experience is just not the same 🙂

If you hesitate to speak Mandarin because;
1. You have an accent
2. Your vocabulary is little
3. You think other people won't understand what you're trying to say
I know you're a diffident Mandarin learner.
As an English learner, I’ve been there.
I was diffident too 😶
I understand the feeling that hesitates to use the second language because I didn't have confidence in myself.
Admit that; making mistakes is embarrassing sometimes 🥶
But the thing is, it's a negative cycle.
Afraid of making mistakes ➡️ Speak less ➡️ Less chance to practice ➡️ Low confidence ➡️ Afraid of making mistakes
I realized if I want to improve I need to do something to break this negative cycle.
So now I adopted a new hobby, I be the first one to say Hello to people, even they are strangers at the Home Depot.
This new hobby helps me to take back the power, be a positive English speaker.
Now I need you to understand, You can be a positive Mandarin learner!
You can take back your power!💪
