Welcome to week 4 of the IO Throwbacks! 🎞️ August is finally here, which means your first days at Brown are right around the corner! ✨

Episode 4: The IMParty is our big outdoor celebration on the Green, where the whole IO community comes together over classic American barbecue and an afternoon of games. Take on your mentors at soccer, pickleball, and spikeball, get creative at the painting table, or just lie back on the grass and soak in your new home. ☀️🌭

Then comes the IMP Skit — arguably the most exciting and surprising part of IO. Your mentors take the stage to show you what life at Brown is really like. It’s the perfect way to close out an unforgettable week. 🎭

Episode 2: Our Meet Your Mentor event is where you will connect with your IMP mentor and group through fun icebreakers and conversations. Here, you will get to begin building a support system even before the semester begins!

At the Identity Conference, we will host discussions around identity, belonging, and community to create space for reflection, connection, and meaningful dialogue. You will also be introduced to some of our amazing identity-based centers on campus 🫂✨
