It was lovely to welcome business majors in the Class of 2030 and transfer students as part of First Day in Friartown — Providence College's summer orientation. The students registered for classes and parents and families learned more about resources available to support learning, career development, and more.

See you in August, Friars!

At the Providence College School of Business, graduate education is about more than advancing a career; it’s about empowering students to make a meaningful impact. We love spotlighting what our students are building — and Finn Keating's story is one you don't want to miss. 🏀

Finn is a rising senior at the Providence College School of Business, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Finance. On the side, he taught himself to code, built a college basketball dynasty game called Hardwood Empire from scratch, and launched it to #1 on the App Store — racking up over 40,000 downloads in just two weeks without spending a single dollar on promotion.

From running two LLCs to growing an online community of thousands, Finn embodies everything we strive to cultivate at the Providence College School of Business: creativity, grit, and the confidence to turn an idea into something real.
