Tarana and Max have been wonderful additions to our team at the PPE Center. Since beginning their postdoctoral fellowships with us in 2024, both have made remarkable contributions to the intellectual community here at Brown University.
We are thrilled to share that Tarana has accepted a position as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Colgate University, and that Max will be moving to Melbourne to begin a position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Monash University.
We are excited to see what the future holds for them both and offer our warmest congratulations on all they have accomplished so far.

We would like to congratulate Byron Darnton and Una Dorr, two dedicated members of the PPE Society, who received the Ducasse Prize from Brown’s Philosophy Department. Named in honor of philosopher Curt John Ducasse, a major figure in Brown’s philosophical tradition, the prize reflects outstanding achievement and promise in the study of philosophy. Congratulations Byron and Una on a job well done!
