We have an immediate opening for a part-time teacher. Our modern teaching facility is located in the beautiful Wayland Square area on the East Side of Providence, within walking distance of Brown University. We provide a flexible weekend and late afternoon schedule and competitive merit-based compensation.

We offer a rewarding opportunity to apply your teaching talents and knowledge of math to influence and shape bright young minds while teaching our unique curriculum. We provide training to make you an even more effective teacher.

Math teachers, teachers in math-related fields (like Engineering, Physics, Medicine, Computer Science, etc.), undergraduate, graduate, PhD and postdoctoral students in mathematics or mathematics-related fields, and other professionals with unique talents for teaching mathematics are welcome to apply.

Qualifications:
• Ability to commute to our School in Providence, Rhode Island
• Flexibility to cover classes from 4pm weekdays and Saturday
• Strong command of mathematics
• Talent for working with and engaging kids
• Maturity and professionalism
• Imagination and creativity and sense of humor

This is one of the most famous images in photographic history.

The first ever X-ray image was taken in 1895 by Wilhelm Röntgen, awarded the first Nobel Prize in Physics, 1901.

The image of his wife Bertha's hand (wedding ring clearly visible) propelled Röntgen into an international celebrity. The medical implications were immediately realised. Röntgen named the discovery X-radiation, or X-rays, after the mathematical term 'X' which denotes something unknown.
