Mondays, 3:45-4:30 at the Jewish Community Center on Elmgrove Ave in Providence. The first nine week session, for ages 3-5, will begin January 13th, 2014.

Designed for the creative child, this class takes familiar stories and teaches children how to use their body, voice, and face to transform themselves into familiar characters. The children will make stories come alive through music, movement, and improvisational games, while also exploring the basic elements of theatre- including set design, costumes, and props. Teachers Ashley and Angie hold degrees in music theatre, have worked professionally at theatres throughout the country, and have been teaching and caring for children for the past ten years.
