We provide a very specifc vocational training program for entering into a very specifc area of medical device sales:

Orthopedic Spine & Biologics.

It's one of the top three highest-income earning specialties in medical device sales and participating in our course maximizes your chances of landing an entry-level sales role.

However, a large part of what we teach in our program is also transferable to other ares of orthopedic sales:

- Joint reconstruction & replacement.

- Craniomaxillofacial.
- Sports medicine.

But it doesn't stop there.

Our curriculum provides an introduction to the operating room, insights to Medtech sales and the healthcare environment.

This means the knowledge gained is also applicable to more peripheral areas of Medtech sales:

Sawbone practice models or Cad’ lab-based clinical experience?

Sawbones have their place.

A quick, 5 minute demo to a busy surgeon or a lunchtime meeting; sawbones, a power tool and pizza.

But for the gold standard in learning an ortho spinal procedure, it has to be a cadaver specimen in a bioskills lab.

- Surgical approach.
- Intra-operative imaging.
- Related soft tissue anatomy.
- Board-certified Ortho Spine Surgeon

This is how to learn and fully understand orthopedic procedures.

Vocational medtech sales training in a bioskills lab?

It’s the logical choice.

Choose wisely.

MDSI Curriculum insight: Imaging 🩻

A key part of the Orthopedic Spine & Biologics sales curriculum is "Imaging."

- Pre-op (MRI, CT & X-ray).
- used for identifying or confirming what is causing the patient's problem, or condition (the pathology).

- Intra-operative (Fluoroscopy).
- assisting the surgeon during the operation, e.g; removing bone, drilling and inserting implants (to correct or alleviate the problem).

- Immediate post-op (Fluoro' & X-ray).
- a snapshot of the end result of the surgery.

As a medical device sales representative giving operative support, it's vital to have an understanding of how to read & interpret medical imaging.

The ability to recognize anatomical landmarks and pathologies, across different forms of imaging, is a key attribute of a medical representative in ortho spine.

MDSI teaches this skill, increasing your chances of attracting the attention of an ortho spine hiring manager.

A Medtech sales vocational training organization, located in a Bioskills Lab 🤔

It's a peanut butter & jelly thing.

They were just made to go together.

If you're considering taking part in vocational training to break into medical device sales, and specifically an orthopedic curriculum, ask yourself:

1. "Where is it being held?"

2. "How will I learn the clinical and operative elements of the curriculum?"

The right answers you want to hear are:

1. In a surgical bioskills cadaver lab.

2. In a fully-equipped, simulated operating room.

Anything else just won't provide the experience you should be demanding from a vocational training provider.
