We encourage members of the Brown community to come to our events to meet new people and practice their Spanish with us (regardless of proficiency)!
We are a community made up of sophomores through seniors with an interest in the Spanish language and the cultures of Spanish speaking countries. Members are encouraged to speak Spanish with each other. Casa Machado residents participate in and help organize activities such as study breaks, Sabores, Tertulias, ciclos de cine (themed movie screenings), community service projects, and our notorious dance parties.

Hi everyone, here is the timeline for the recruiting process:
Feb 11 (this Sunday) at 5PM: open house + tour
Feb 13, Feb 15 (next Tuesday and Thursday) twice each day at 5:30PM and at 7PM: house tours WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN GIVE A TOUR OF THE HOUSE
Feb 19 at midnight: Applications due
Feb 21, 22, 23: Interviews
