Education in Action

Volunteers needed:

Friends, we're looking for a handful of volunteers this Friday.

A small groups of students have been enrolled in a two-week entrepreneurship program and are presenting their business plans 'shark tank' style on Friday at East Greenwich High School.

We're looking for some well dressed individuals to act as 'investors' who will view the presentations, ask questions to the students, and offer some constructive criticisms. The program runs from 9-11, but we haven't determined a official presentation time quite yet.

Any consideration would be greatly appreciated!

So happy to have Chef Thomas Hunold come to Gladstone Elementary School to teach the students enrolled in Young Stars ACTIVE-ists about healthy cooking earlier this week!
Programs like this would not be possible without the support of generous organizations like Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island Headquarters and Bain+2 & Kidventure 21st CCLC After-school Programs
