Formerly known as BRYTE Camp, we were founded in 2011 by college students, refugee youth, and community partners. We are free to the families!

We bring together 60-80 refugee youth for 5 weeks of English literacy and math classes, dance parties, and joy.

⭐️💪🏽YOUTH ARE POWERFUL!🌱⭐️

Our RYPM 2025 program culminated in brave and brilliant “Youth Power Projects” by all of our participants. Youth selected issue areas that they were passionate about, and worked together to develop persuasive presentations, informing and inspiring the audience. Topics included:

🚌Saving RIPTA
🏥Promoting Universal Free Healthcare
🧠Supporting Teen Mental Health
📲Warning about Social Media
💻Combatting Cyber-scamming

We are so truly proud of each of our participants, and cannot wait to see how they carry what they’ve learned into their bright futures. Pacifique said it best:

“RYPM helped me realize that I have a voice and can speak up for what’s right.” ⭐️
