The absolute JOY of learning to mix Primary Colors to make new colors!!! It never gets old to watch a new generation learn this magic. Sending love and light to all my art teacher peers who also provide this incredible experience to the wee ones. 🥰🙏🧡🌈🎨

Art teaching friends!!!! Save paint (and 💵!) by putting your acrylic paints on cardboard, then place them in takeout containers and pop in the fridge overnight! Another fun tip I learned after wasting 20 min trying to match lids to containers 😩, use a paint marker to write a letter on both the lid and the bottom for easy matching!

What’s holding you back?? Art class is for EVERYONE. Not just for “talented” people. If you ever enjoyed making art, if you ever thought—I should take an art class, or maybe you just need a change of scenery, come see me. My Thursday night classes are for beginners who are art-curious. If that’s you, what are you waiting for??? Don’t let FEAR of failure stop you from having fun.

Ps- it was terrifying to make this weird video. If I can do this, you can come be creative!!!

🐝🐝🐝 Grades K-2 explored the world of Bees! We talked about their importance to our ecosystem (there would be no food without bees!) and explored different ways to create the appearance of honeycomb through printing with stamps, bubble wrap, and netting. Students created observation drawings of honeybees and added these to their honeycombs. When all the honeycombs were placed on the display wall, we discussed how, together, they formed a hive!
