Beautiful bird roundup from grades 3-5! How sweet are these fairy garden terrariums? We love teaching kiddos about building ecosystems. This provides an excellent opportunity to foster curiosity about the natural world. 🌿🌱🫙
We go over all the different layers involved in creating the terrarium and discuss how it “rains” inside, meaning that one never needs to water the plants. The vessels are also reused instant coffee jars, hopefully (pardon the pun) planting a seed of “how can I reuse packaging in the future?”

Beautiful K-2 faces inspired Frida Kahlo’s “Self Portrait, Dedicated to Dr Eloesser”, 1940. We created a variety of leaves for our backgrounds after discussing patterns and lines. Aren’t they wonderful? 🧡🥰
