☀️With the start of our Summer Class Session, we’d love to introduce Zoë Wyner!
Zoë is teaching intro to the wheel this summer, but typically teaches intermediate wheel classes focusing on throwing TALL and making bottle forms!
Zoë has been teaching with Anyhow since early 2023 and was introduced to our studio when she connected with our Founder Liz, at an Art Opening . Right around the time that Liz first opened Anyhow! The two of them stayed in touch and Zoë started teaching with Us about a year and a half later!
Zoë’s been playing with clay since she was a child! Her grandmother signed her up for an afternoon class at Mudflat Studios in Somerville, Ma when she was just 9 years old! ( Thanks Grandma!! ) She’s been working in clay on and off since then, and has been really consistently working in the medium since about 2018.
Zoë really loves making bottles. She had a teacher (David LaPierre) when she was in her early 20s who made the most gorgeous porcelain bottles, and she became absolutely obsessed with perfecting the form, to the point where they were the majority of what she made for around a decade. Zoë also has been spending more time altering forms over the last handful of years, and just recently started introducing more sculptural features to her work. More on that soon!
Zoë will be doing a third collaborative show with the wonderful Catherine Druken coming up in the fall. Keep your eyes peeled for announcements over the next handful of months!
✍️Drop a comment if you’ve taken a Class with Zoë and share how awesome she is!

🏳️🌈 Happy Pride Ya’ll! What a gift it is to celebrate so many queer-owned businesses (like us!) this month and every damn month!!
🏳️🌈Our recognition and reverence especially goes to the Black, trans activists who made celebrating Pride possible.
🏳️🌈We wouldn’t be here today without them, and are comitted to getting into good trouble to fight for our collective human rights.
🏳️🌈Join us in celebrating Q***r Joy at this year’s Providence Pride Parade, on the evening of June 20th!
