The International Literacy Association and CAEP, has just awarded the M.Ed. in Reading program at RIC five years of accreditation, their highest honor. To quote a portion of the report: "This program provides strong experiences and assessments with regard to teaching, assessing, coaching, and leading school literacy programs." RIC candidates have a 100% pass rate on the Praxis Reading Specialist Test required by RIDE.
