On Thursday, Nov. 18 at 11:30 AM ET, executives from Opportunity@Work (Byron Auguste, CEO), (Bridgette Gray, CCO), WorkingNation (Ramona Schindelheim, Editor-in-Chief), and the RI Group For Hispanic Technology (Wilkin Sanchez, Founder and CEO) will discuss the Myths, Mispercetions, and Truths about talent and skills. We will talk about ways we can change how employers see and hire talent. A college Degree may not be necessary anymore for certain jobs, it’s time to open the doors for those who haven’t gotten an opportunity to go to college. I will see you there!!

Today marks 1 year that the Rhode Island Group for Hispanic Technology was founded. For the past year we have been able to help many members of the Hispanic community of Rhode Island learn more about technology and gain access to resources they didn’t know existed. We thank every organization that believed in us and helped us share the importance of Technical trainings for the community. We are looking forward to keep making partnerships in the State of Rhode Island and to keep developing the Hispanic Community.

RIHCC - NCU: 1ra Reunion Virtual de negocios Preparando tu Negocio para la Nueva Era Digital

El Grupo Rhode Island para Tecnología Hispana (RIGHT) junto con muchas grandes organizaciones, ayudaron a la Oficina de Innovación de Rhode Island y al Instituto Highlander con su Línea de Ayuda de Educación a Distancia para Padres de RI desde mediados de abril hasta el final del año escolar. RIGHT pudo ayudar a muchas familias hispanas donde les ayudamos a resolver la mayoría de los desafíos técnicos que enfrentaban en casa con la educación a distancia.
