Denisse Gomez Cruz is the valedictorian of the SPA class of 2026! In the fall, she is headed to Rhode Island College where she will major in Medical Imaging. Her favorite SPA memory is going to PPAC to see the musical "Six" in her sophomore year. Denisse is looking forward to learning new things and making new friends in college!

Katelyn Adolfo is the salutatorian of the Class of 2026! In the fall, Katelyn will be attending Rhode Island College where she will major in Nursing. She is grateful for the close bonds she formed at SPA. Katelyn is looking forward to growing in her dream career and earning her BSN! Congratulations on this accomplishment, Katelyn, we are proud of you!

Jorlis Garcia is the Mistress of Ceremonies of the Class of 2026! In the fall, Jorlis will attend Rhode Island College where she will major in nursing. Her favorite memory from SPA is the senior retreat to Enders Island, CT where they caught crabs and snails on the beach, played hide & seek, and enjoyed the beautiful views. Jorlis is looking forward to reaching her future goal of becoming either a doctor or a LNP and working with kids in pediatrics. Congratulations, Jorlis!

In conjunction with this special event, we are collecting cards and letters for Deacon Raymond. They can be forwarded to the St. Patrick Academy Development Office, and they will be presented to the Deacon on the day of the event.

Congratulations to Mia Wells '27 who was recently recognized as a 2026 RI Civic Leadership Award recipient by Secretary of State Gregg Amore! We are proud of Mia and all of her accomplishments. She is a great leader both in and out of the classroom and she consistently shows her commitment to Catholic service through her involvement in the community, specifically at the Mary House Meal Kitchen. Keep up the great work, Mia!

Last Friday we celebrated the achievements of our underclassmen with the annual Underclassmen Awards! Students were recognized for academics, character, and Christian spirit. We are blessed to have such an amazing group of Padres!

We also celebrated the top three seniors! Congratulations to Denisse Gomez Cruz, Katelyn Adolfo, and Jorlis Garcia for earning valedictorian, salutatorian, and mistress of ceremonies! Stay tuned for more info on them, coming soon!

As we wind down the year, students are hard at work with final projects and assignments! Freshmen are creating diaries from the perspective of characters in Shakespeare's "Macbeth". These diaries will help them to grow their understanding of characterization and development throughout the course of a play.
