Last week, our school participated in National Fire Prevention Week. This year's theme,“Charge Into Fire Safety - Safe Charging Is a Superpower,” focuses on the everyday charging habits that can help reduce the risk of lithium-ion battery fires and keep homes and communities safer.

Congratulations to Ruby and Lauren, who won our annual fire safety coloring contest earning them a ride to school on the fire truck! We all visited the fire station where we learned about fire safety and got to tour the trucks. Students even used the fire hose to put out a "house fire!" The 6th graders then rode the fire truck back to school, and Mrs. Engelhardt's class wrapped things up with a fun fire truck themed treat!

A big thank you to the Protivin Volunteer Fire Department - including Fire Chief Brad Moudry, Tim Beckman, and Chris Shimek - for letting us visit and for always keeping our community safe! 🚒👨‍🚒

This week is National School Lunch Week. Make sure to thank Bonnie for the great lunches! We also have school pictures on Thursday morning. October is the month of the rosary so we will be saying the Living Rosary on Friday at 12:25. Join us if you can.

We celebrated a day early this year! Many of our students ride the bus or get dropped off, so it’s fun to walk together through town each year from Art's Milling Service all the way to our front doors… with inspiration lining the sidewalks on our way.

Trinity students are walking side by side as a school family, and walking humbly with God! 🤍

Dots, dots, and more dots! Our third and fourth graders explored the work of Yayoi Kusama, the Japanese artist famous for polka dots and pumpkins. They took what they learned to make their own colorful creations, including an art installation of an infinity room that included pumpkins and a mirror.

This week is Fire Prevention Week. The theme this year is “Charge Into Fire Safety Safe Charging Is a Superpower”. We are also ordering Trinity shirts this year, starting on the 8th and the order forms will be due on the 21st.
