The classrooms are ready, our staff inservice week is wrapped up, and supplies have been dropped off... it's time for another great school year to begin at Trinity Catholic School!

This year, our school theme is “Act Justly, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly” from Micah 6:8. These words remind us how we are called to live our Catholic faith each day: to act justly by treating others with dignity, kindness, and respect; to love mercy by extending forgiveness, compassion, and grace; and to walk humbly with God, trusting that He guides us along the way. This message will carry throughout the school year as we learn, grow, serve, and support one another.

We are grateful for the partnership of our students, staff, families, parish, and community. Together, we have the opportunity to nurture young people who know they are loved by God and are called to share that love with others.

Thank you for continuing to support us and for your prayers as we welcome our students back tomorrow morning. May God bless our school, our students, and each of our families throughout the coming year! ✝

New Staff Spotlight - Mrs. Abby Williams

Please join us in welcoming Abby Williams to Trinity! Ms. Williams will be our first and second grade classroom teacher, and we're excited for her to join our school family!

🎓 Education
Mrs. Williams went to Upper Iowa University for her undergraduate degree, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in K-6 Elementary Education with a number of endorsements. She then went on to Clarke University where she graduated with her Masters.

💼 Professional Background
After teaching two years in 2nd grade, followed by five years of teaching high school special education, Mrs. Williams is headed into her 8th year in the classroom.

❤ Why Trinity?
"I'm beyond excited to be stepping back into an elementary classroom! I look forward to work in elementary to share my love of reading, as well as look forward to celebrating the small moments and victories with my students. I love when a classroom feels like a family and am excited to find that here at Trinity."

📚 Outside the Classroom
"I have been married for 4 years to my amazing husband Maleek. We have a fun and energetic son who is 3 named Ezra. We also have the sweetest dog named Zeus. We refer to him as our baby, but he happens to be a 6 year old great dane who weighs 160lbs. When I am not teaching, I love working at Kessel Kids during the summer, playing outside, helping at the county fair or spending time with family. We are huge Wrestling fans as well."

It's time to welcome our students and families back into the building as we gear up for another great school year at Trinity Catholic School!

Parents/guardians and students can drop in next Wednesday from 4:30 - 6:30 PM for our Meet the Teacher night! Drop off supplies, visit classrooms, and catch up with friends and teachers. We're excited to have everyone back!
