Several of our choral members are on our rocking MC Cheer Competition Team so let’s show up and support them TODAY, Tuesday November 14 for their showcase in the BIG GYM Mid-Carolina Middle School at 6:30pm!!!!

The MC Cheer Competition Team will have a Showcase at 6:30 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, November 14, 2023. This event will take place at the MC Middle School Big Gym. All are invited to attend and support these very talented young ladies.

🎵 Big news! 🎵

Yesterday, our students auditioned for the South Carolina Music Educators Association All State Chorus in Cayce, SC. 🎶

They were among 1,900 students from 109 schools across the state. We're so proud of Emily Bates, Camryn Burley, Emily Covington, Hannah Quattlebaum, and John Richard Van Vlake for representing us! 🌟

We are extremely proud of our honor choir members Hannah Quattlebaum and Emily Covington for participating in the immensely talented Central Region Choir held at Newberry College. The Central Region Choir was comprised of over 300 choral students from the Midlands and surrounding areas. A gracious thank you to Mr. Shumate of Chapin High School for heading up the event. Dr. Chris Sheppard served as the clinician for the event with accompanists Mrs. Alice Ramirez on piano and organ and Dr. Cory High on percussion.

Members of the Mid-Carolina Choirs are attending the SCMEA Region Choir hosted on the Newberry College campus. Coming together with 300+ members of our amazing choral members from the Midlands and surrounding areas, the collective ensemble will host a concert at 6pm at Wiles Chapel. This event is free and open to the public.
