❤️💛 Celebrating Hispanic Heritage at MCHS! ❤️💛

Our students have been hard at work transforming our showcase hall into a vibrant celebration of Hispanic Heritage! 🇲🇽🇵🇷🇨🇴🇪🇸

Through their creative posters and research, students are highlighting iconic Hispanic individuals, rich traditions, and countries while sharing the significant contributions of Hispanic communities across a variety of fields. Their work will create a hall full of knowledge, culture, and pride for our entire school community to explore and enjoy! 🌎✨

Displayed on the wall is this beautiful quote attributed to Mexican writer Carlos Fuentes:

“El corazón hispano es un mapa donde no existen fronteras, solo puentes que unen a través de la lengua y el orgullo de nuestras raíces.”

“The Hispanic heart is a map without borders; it uses bridges that bring people together through language and the pride of our roots.”

🏆 Let the friendly competition begin! We will be hosting a contest to recognize the TOP 3 POSTERS that best showcase Hispanic Heritage.

We are proud of our students for helping celebrate the diversity, history, and contributions that enrich our school community. ❤️🖤

Mrs. Wise and Mrs. Caldwell’s classes are learning about different trades in the construction industry. One of the skills we learned was how to splice and solder wires together.

A big thank you to SRO Caleb Kierstead for teaching us about safety and showing us how to properly complete the soldering process. We appreciate you taking the time to teach us a new skill and share your knowledge with us.

Thank you again for helping us learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience. We truly appreciate your time and support!
