Thank you to all of the students and parents who were able to attend last night's BINGO/Lotería evening. There was a lot fun, prizes, snacks, laughter, smiles, singing and Spanish being practiced. Some of our Reynolds MS DL students volunteered as well. I appreciate those who were able to volunteer their time to make this possible.

Don't forget to submit your Light Farms PTO Election Ballet for the 2015-2016 school year!!!!

You can submit your ballot at Cockrell Elementary on Thursday, 4/9 until 6:00 PM and Friday, 4/10 until 8:30 AM.

The ballots are available in the front office so there is no need for you bring a printed copy with you.

As a reminder, only Dual Language PTO members can vote.

This is a friendly reminder that tonight is the last of our 2 Kinder parent information meetings. Parents are required to attend one of the two scheduled meetings before additional testing registration is released. The meeting will take place in the Cockrell library from 6-7 pm. It is not required that the applying student be present at this meeting.

You will learn about our DL Two—Way program as well as receive information on the application and testing process. Please attend one of the two required Dual Language meetings in order for your student to be considered for testing.

The Dual Language Cultural Event scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, January 29th from 5:30-7:30 will take place in the Reynolds MS Cafeteria. The cafeteria is located in the back of the school.

The two Cockrell Elementary Spanish Club and 7th and 8th grade DL student performances will take place at 6:15.

We are looking forward to a night of games, prizes, treats and a craft project!
