Indie Music, short for “independent music,” began as a DIY movement built around artists creating and releasing music outside of the mainstream. While the term originally described how music was produced and distributed, “indie” has grown into a diverse musical style known for creativity, experimentation, and individuality. From the underground sounds of the ’80s to the indie rock explosion of the ’90s and 2000s, the genre has continued to evolve and incorporate influences from rock, folk, garage, psychedelic, world music, and electronic music.

WE ARE CLOSED THIS WEEK FOR PREP WEEK. 8/31-9/6
We will use Prep Week to better serve our SoR community. Our team will be training & providing professional development for staff, preparing logistics for next season, repairing gear, improving facility needs, deep-cleaning, and providing students with a much needed break from the previous season’s hard work before diving into the next. It's an opportunity for us to hit the reset button and hit the ground running next season!
We will also be closed for Labor Day on 9/7
