📱 PROSPECT PARK SCHOOLS IS GOING DEVICE-FREE BELL TO BELL! 🔔

As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, Prospect Park Schools will be implementing our Bell-to-Bell Device-Free Policy in accordance with new New Jersey law.

Under the new requirement, students in Pre-K through Grade 8 will not use personal internet-enabled devices during the school day—from the first bell to the last bell, including class time, passing time, lunch, and study halls.

📵 Devices must be out of sight, powered off, and stored away throughout the school day.

The Borough of Prospect Park, in collaboration with the The World Organization for Positive Action, is happy to announce that we will be hosting the annual backpack and school supplies giveaway this Thursday, August 20th at 6 PM in the Municipal Building. The application is open until all bags are reserved.

We are happy to announce that our yearbooks have finally arrived! Thank you for your patience while we waited for them to come in.

8th Grade students may pick up their yearbooks at the School 1 Cafeteria during the following days and times:

Wednesday, August 12: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Thursday, August 13: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Monday, August 17: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM

🎉 Our School Uniform and Spirit Store is NOW OPEN! 🎉

Our school store is officially open for the new school year!

Families may place orders now through August 14 to receive their items during our school pickup dates on September 1 and September 2, ensuring students have their uniforms in time for the first day of school.

👕 Required Daily School Uniform:
• Khaki pants
• White or royal blue polo shirt

🏃 Gym Uniform:
Students may also wear royal blue gym shorts or sweatpants (gym uniform) on designated gym days.

Pre-K and KG are encouraged to wear PE uniforms daily

⭐ Spirit Wear & Tag Day Items:
The additional apparel available in the store is optional and perfect for our many Spirit Days and Tag Days throughout the school year!

The countdown to the new school year has officially begun, and we are so excited! Our custodial staff has been hard at work preparing our classrooms, hallways, and learning spaces to welcome our students back for an amazing year.

✨ September 1 & 2 –First Day for Teachers (PD days)
✨ September 3 – First Day of School for Students
✨ September 3 & 4 – Early Dismissal Days for students

In case you missed our Orientation dates in June, we are excited to offer 2 more dates!

Preschool and Kindergarten lanyards are now ready for pickup. The lanyard includes important information, including your child's class teacher, and it is very important that your child wears their lanyard on the first day of school.

Please stop by the school to pick up your child's lanyard on one of the following dates:
