Interested in serving your community and making a difference for students? Today marks the opening of the candidate filing period for the November 3, 2026 Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools Board of Education Election!

Four School Board seats will be on the ballot, with four-year terms beginning January 1, 2027.

To become a candidate, you must:
✔️ Be an eligible voter
✔️ Be at least 21 years old
✔️ Have lived in the school district for at least 30 days before the general election
✔️ Not have filed for another office in this election

📍 Filing dates and location:
July 14 – July 28, 2026

🕗 Office hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Candidates must submit an Affidavit of Candidacy and a $2 filing fee by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28.
